Singapore, Singapore ---- After the success of their first bootcamp on International grounds, Digital Vidya, India?s premier digital marketing training company, will be spreading the Social Media madness in Singapore again on Jun 09 and 10, 2011.

On their first visit there, Digital Vidya witnessed a hall full of social media enthusiasts from the city of Singapore. In association with TiE Singapore and a mission to spread the Digital Vidya globally, Mr. Pradeep Chopra and Kapil Nakra led a workshop of over 30 people, helping them build and nurture digital marketing talent and helping them leverage social media marketing to scale up their respective businesses.

?Being Social? now has a new meaning and rightly so, in the domain of marketing as well. In the technology era, a fundamental shift has taken place in the way that corporate communicate, process and practice. What Digital Vidya will help you in is identifying your influencers, reaching out to your target audience and building strategies to make your optimize your online presence, through the power of social media. A variety of ongoing discussion and debates about Social Media are seen on their LinkedIn profile: and a plethora of insights into the world of social media are discussed and debated at their Facebook Page.

Starting with an overview to the social media universe, the bootcamp was essentially about strategizing and working out a social media plan for the brand the participants represented. Listing goals, methods and expectations, the session was a real time experience of how to inculcate social media in the marketing pattern of one?s organization effectively. The strategy was then open to discussion and feedback, hence giving the individual a mix of opinions and a better insight of social media marketing.

Validating data with Case studies and examples of brands which had both been successes and failures in the social media domain, the participants were able to analyze and compare their plans. Essentially, a hands-on workshop, wherein the learning is both ways, the bootcamps aided its participants in empowering their brand to unleash the potential of Digital Marketing.

The participants were an interesting mix from various walks of life. Some of the participatory companies included big giants including Yahoo, Leo Burnett, Microsoft and eBay. Allein Moore, the Editor of AdAsia was quoted saying, ?All senior executives should attend to understand the importance and potential of social media?, whereas Jemelyn, Senior Analyst at eBay, Singapore felt that the case studies used as examples made the bootcamp interesting and easier to remember.
