Through the partnership with mobile communications company Jangl, announced today, Plentyoffish members will be able call, text or leave a voicemail message for someone that takes their fancy without divulging their own mobile number.

Plentyoffish, which still run personally by founder Markus Frind in his apartment, is a free dating site with over 1.3 billion page views every month and generates over $10 million USD in advertising annually.  Jangl will be supported by brief ads inserted seamlessly alongside a member?s calls and messages.

Frind comments, ?We're built for people who simply want to meet someone, and today that has to include a connection to the mobile device. When you think about social apps that connect the web and the phone seamlessly for real people, Jangl is the first name that comes to mind."

In less than a year and a half, Jangl has partnered with social networking sites such as Facebook, Bebo, Match.com, Friendster and AdultFriendFinder to deliver similar service through a Jangl application.
