Comverse logoWAKEFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bell Mobility has selected the Comverse Mobile Internet HUB, visual voicemail and multimedia messaging (MMS) to highlight and make the most of its recently launched high-speed wireless network in Canada.

?Strategies for Growth ? Compelling Customer Service?

The Comverse Mobile Internet HUB helps optimize traffic flow and improve the overall Web browsing experience. The new high-speed packet access (HSPA) network also brings Comverse Visual Voicemail to a range of advanced handsets, enriching voicemail service with visual elements, such as an inbox that displays all messages and empowers users to select any message in any order with one click.

Taking the experience even further, Bell users can choose to read their voicemail ? Voicemail to Text, which transcribes the voice messages into text and is enabled by Comverse?s industry leading voice messaging platform.

The Comverse MMS Center (MMSC) delivers a rich multimedia messaging experience over Bell?s extensive HSPA device line-up and will allow users to send more ? and larger ? multimedia messages.

?We want Bell clients to enjoy the very best that mobile technology has to offer,? said Bruce Rodin, Vice President of Wireless Technology, Bell Mobility. ?That?s why we offer the country?s fastest and largest high-speed mobile network and that?s why we chose Comverse ? for their global technological leadership and proven track record in delivering advanced voice, messaging, and mobile Internet services.?

Comverse HUB Value-Added Services span voice, messaging, mobile Internet and mobile advertising. Comverse HUB is a synergistic framework that enables service providers to maximize their business performance and augment their position in the market.

?Like Bell, Comverse is on the cutting edge of change, and we look forward to an even more exciting future together shaping the course of value-added services,? said Dror Bin, President of Global Sales at Comverse, which is the world?s leading supplier of software and systems enabling value-added messaging and content services, converged billing and active customer management, and IP communications.

?Navigating the future successfully requires enriching communications with new services and a compelling, superior user experience, maximizing operator revenues by creating new revenue streams, and reducing costs through operational efficiencies,? Bin said.

Offering mobile speeds as high as 21 Megabits per second (21 Mbps), the new HSPA network covers more than 1 million square kilometers, reaching approximately 93 percent of the population. The new network also supports international roaming in more than 200 countries.

At the upcoming Mobile World Congress meeting (Feb. 15 to 18) in Barcelona, visitors are invited to Hall 8 Booth B83 to experience the wide range of Comverse demos. To schedule a meeting with Comverse, visitors are encouraged to make an online request. Also, Comverse?s Yaniv Zuckerman, vice president of Portfolio Marketing, will participate on a panel discussion, ?Strategies for Growth ? Compelling Customer Service? on Tuesday, Feb. 16 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
