MediaRhyme logoSocial Media Portal (SMP): What is your full job title and role (what do you do there at MediaRhyme)?

Jad Aizarani (JA): I’m a 16 year old Web Designer, Developer and Enterpeuner from Beirut, Lebanon. I’ve always thought that the web life still needs something new / interactive and more efficient, so after 2 months of hard work and sleepless nights the idea of making a “Download Search Engine” aroused, I call it MediaRhyme … MediaRhyme is a search engine that enables you to download any Audio, Video, E-book and Torrent and also includes a web search and dictionary and a translator.

SMP: Briefley, tell us about MediaRhyme, what is it and what does it do?

JA: MediaRhyme is a search engine that enables you to download any audio, video and/or or torrent and also contains a web search, dictionary and translator.

SMP: What made you start MediaRhyme?

JA: For two months I kept on thinking in creating a website that enables users to download anything in a better and more efficient way.

SMP: What was the most challenging part of building the service?

JA: The most challenging part of building the service was the web search , because I wanted to create an easier web search that makes the people want to use it; so I  created an Ajax web search which obtains results from Google, Bing and Ask.

SMP: Who are your target audience and why?

JA: Everyone in the world, because I strive to make MediaRhyme an international website not just for the Middle East.

SMP: How did you initially attract users to your site/service, and how do you do it now?

JA: It started spreading on its own, till now I do not advertise my site, yet it gains over 10,000 visitors each day.

SMP: What are the low moments of what you have been doing so far?

JA: There have not been any low moments so far.

SMP: What are the high moments of what you have been doing so far?

JA: Now MediaRhyme receives over 10,000 visitors each day, but we tend for bigger results in the future.

SMP: Now that you are established, what do you see as your biggest challenges and opportunities?

JA: We strive in reaching a bigger number of visitors and download, because we think MediaRhyme has the potential of enabling all the users on the web to have a simplified and a better web life.

SMP: What are the next moves for MediaRhyme?

JA: We want to keep on offering the latest results in music and videos from a consumers perspective. For developers – we want to be the default search engine solution.

SMP: What’s going to be the most interesting aspect regarding social media and networks?

JA: Social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace will be presented by default; mobile phones will have a bigger commercial role as an interaction with the popular social networks.

SMP:  Now it is reported that we may be moving out of the global recession what do what impact do you think social media may have upon a business such as yours?

JA: The progress and the development of social media and networks will enable organisations such as mine to target more audience in a lower cost.

SMP: How does this fit into plans at MediaRhyme?

JA: Above and beyond using the power of social media and networks widely in our promotion plan, we work on making MediaRhyme become a vital need for the users online to make their web life easier and more efficient.
