Social Media within the Military and the Defence Sector Europe? next week in Amsterdam. The two-day event from 25-26 February 2013 is to be held at Movenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre, Piet Heinkade 11, 1019 BR Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Guest speakers and panel members for the defence and military conference include Estonian Defence Force, Finnish Defence Forces, IABG GmbH, Ministry of Defence (MOD), NATO Headquarters, Purple Strategies, Raythoen Technologies, Swedish Armed Forces and more. Chaired by Steven Mehringer, Head of the Communication Technologies Section at NATO Headquarters the speakers will cover subject matters including tagging applications and capabilities in military information systems; cyber awareness training; applying social media language technology to social media and other subject matters that are relevant to a sector that can?t always openly discuss matters due to the sensitive nature of their work.
