NEC Birmingham to host Internet Retailing Expo 2013
NEC Birmingham to host the Internet Retailing Expo (IRX), the event for multichannel and online retailers from tomorrow
The premier event for multichannel and online retailers, the
Internet Retailing Expo (IRX) graces Birmingham?s NEC from 20-21 March 2013.
Organised by Internet Retailing Events and driven by
Internet Retailing magazine and website, IRX 2013 is a free to attend event. It consists of six conferences, 12 workshops, and over 150 suppliers attracting over 5,000 visitors from the retail, leisure and hospitality industries.
Mark Pigou, show director of Internet Retailing Expo (IRX) explains, ?Every industry needs a top-level trade show to deliver thought leadership, innovation and the very latest solutions in a face-to-face environment. As business interaction gets driven more and more onto digital platforms it is critical that any industry retains a physical touch-point with its customers.?
Other
show highlights to set the event apart include 13 trends for 2013 (13 for 13 ? priorities to survive and thrive), The Innovation Studio and an opportunity to meet Tony Sales, described as Britain?s greatest fraudster. ?No doubt that the presentation, conference and workshop programmes will be hugely attractive to the visitors. Throw in several new product launches, the opportunity to have a one-on-one session with ?Britain?s Biggest Fraudster?, Web Doctor sessions, show floor tours and some well earned time at the PayPal BAR and you have all the best ingredients for a truly dynamic event,? adds an excited Pigou.
Across the two days IRX attendees will see global digital, ecommerce and mobile
exhibitors with guest speakers including Chris Poad, Amazon; Felicity McCarthy, Facebook; Oliver Ropars, eBay; Joanna Robb, B&Q; Julia Monro M&S; Saeed Anslow, Asda; Sarah Bailie, Debenhams; Steve Ash, Pizza Hut; Robert Moss, SecretSales; Kieran Clinton-Tarestad, GANT UK, Simon Harrow, Kiddicare and Nadine Sharara from Thomas Pink Ltd.
