Last.fm (http://www.last.fm)
have partnered with smart phone technology provider Electric Pocket (http://www.electricpocket.com) to make
the music social networks service available through their LobsterTunes MP3
player for Windows Mobile.
With Electric Pocket's addition of 'auto-scrobbling',
LobsterTunes users are able to have song details sent through to their Last.fm
profile, and will be able to share their favourite tunes, discover what
their friends are listening to, hear new music, and get recommendations from
their mobile phone (providing it's a compatible device).
The LobsterTunes Biography menu will now include Last.fm
recommendations for similar artists and alert users about upcoming events and
concerts.
Last.fm's user base is now over 20 million.
