Poker site PrizeWagon.com (
http://www.prizewagon.com) has released its first Facebook application, PrizeWagon's AceBook Poker. Acebook Poker provides all Facebook users with access to the same games, cash, and prizes players as on the PrizeWagon.com website.
Head application developer Brian Barclay explains, "The social networking concept is such a great way for us to connect with our players on a personal level. The Facebook application platform and the newest Google endeavor, OpenSocial, are ideal delivery mechanisms for us to reach users in new and exciting ways."
As on its main site, PrizeWagon's AceBook Poker offers a variety of games, each allowing players different ways to earn entries into free cash and prize tournaments. Players can access these tournaments depending on their skill level and the amount of time they spend playing in the community. All players interact and compete live with other poker enthusiasts from across a spectrum of sites which are powered by PrizeWagon.
OpenSocial (
http://code.google.com/apis/opensocial) was launched by Google on 01 November 2007. It allows developers to create applications that work across other social networks, including MySpace, Bebo, Xing, LinkedIn, Plaxo, Hi5, iLike and Oracle.
