Former staffer for John F. Kennedy and author and lecturer, Priscilla McMillan has
launched a blog to communicate with readers and researchers regarding the United States nuclear policy and the origins of the arms race.
A press release issued today states that the blog hopes to ?convey that government secrecy and fear mustn't be used to rob the American people of their civil liberties, or be used to silence dissenting scientists.?

McMillian?s first job after graduating from Harvard was with newly elected Senator John F. Kennedy in 1953, where she helped prepare his maiden speech on the French role in Vietnam. She is the author of The Ruin of J. Robert Oppenheimer (father of the atomic bomb) and Marina and Lee (a book about Lee Harvey Oswald ? assassin of JFK).
On her blog, McMillian states, ?If you care about nuclear arms control, a more open government, civil liberties, and how America got embroiled in the cold war conflict that ultimately culminated in the great Star Wars deception, then the Ruin of J. Robert Oppenheimer is a must read for you.?
