Goldman Sachs, The McGraw-Hill Companies and SAP Ventures invest $22.7 million in LinkedIn

LinkedIn has
today announced the receipt of a significant strategic investment to the tune of $22.7 million USD.
This investment of funding sees Goldman Sachs, The McGraw-Hill Companies and SAP Ventures join the LinkedIn team. Bessemer Venture Partners also re-invested with the solid B2B network. Today?s announcement closes the Round D funding of $53 million USD in June 2008, bringing the total of this round of funding to $75.7 million.
Dan Nye, LinkedIn?s chief executive officer, who made the announcement today on the
LinkedIn blog comments that this cash injection solidifies LinkedIn?s commitment to creating the right partnerships in order to continue to grow the community. He goes on to say, ?This funding strengthens LinkedIn further, and will help us to continue creating additional services for professionals to connect and collaborate more effectively, around the world.?
