Collaborative search start-up Xoost introduces ?Yes, Keep It? button to search results

Xoost, a social search start-up, has introduced a new feature to provide searchers with more control on the results they see.

The launch of the ?Yes, Keep It? button allows users to visit the websites returned in their search result, and then decide whether the website is relevant to them without having to leave the site.  If the site is not relevant, they can press a ?No, Keep Searching? button which will enable them to visit other sites or change their search terms.  The searches and pages voted for will be added to their Xoost profile to contribute to the overall ranking system of the search platform.

A spokesperson for Xoost comments, ?Users experience an innovative way of searching the web and have an unprecedented control of their search keywords and web pages. This distinct technology is a step forward building up a useful and global social search platform.?

Xoost, which is in invitation beta, returns the top three results from Google, Yahoo! and Live and allows users to see what other members in the community have been searching for in real time.
