LinkedIn to let recruiters view full profiles with Talent Advantage
Professional online community LinkedIn launch new recruitment service after job postings double
B2B social network LinkedIn has today
announced it?s new ?Talent Advantage? service to assist employers and recruiters locate potential job seekers more easily.
The launch of Talent Advantage comes after the professional online community noticed a 100% spike in job postings over the last six months ? despite the flailing economy. Talent Advantage enables recruiters to have full access to LinkedIn profiles and drill down and search on specific experience and / or qualifications. The goal is to help recruiters locate the ?perfect candidate? who may not be actively seeking another position which LinkedIn believe will save time and effort, and also help prevent employers from making a ?bad hire.?
LinkedIn?s senior director of enterprise, Francois Dufour, comments, ?LinkedIn Talent Advantage lets recruiters unlock the power of LinkedIn?s extensive professional network so they can uncover quality passive candidates who are unlikely to be on traditional job boards.? Dufour goes on to say, ?The hiring market has changed, and the new LinkedIn Talent Advantage is a game-changer for the human resources community.
LinkedIn Talent Advantage also improves the Company Profile, enabling companies to custom their profile with messaging that will help appeal to potential candidates. This will sit alongside sticky features such as interactive polling and company submitted videos.
The addition of Talent Advantage comes just two weeks after LinkedIn announced the addition of LinkedIn Polls, which allows professional networkers to conduct market research on both the
peers within their own network and a wider LinkedIn audience.
