Adap.tv offer video monetisation to Brightcove and Mogulus
New partner program offers increased video monetisation to range of video networks
Popular live-broadcast platform Mogulus has announced a partnership with video advertising network Adap.tv to add monetisation options for its high-level users.
The partnership sees the addition of an Adap.tv plug-in, which will allow Mogulus Pro users to select a range of features
and functions to generate revenue from their video. By setting up an account at Adap.tv, content owners can configure their channel advertising through the Mogulus control panel, selecting to insert both pre-roll and overlay ads into their video. Revenues and impression statistics will be fed back directly to their Adap.tv account.
Mogulus co-founder and chief executive officer Max Haot says, ?Integrating Adap.tv?s One Source 2.0 platform as a plug-in to our Mogulus Pro service is a key milestone in enabling Mogulus Pro customers to monetise their live streaming content with pre-roll and inventory from their own internal servers and third-party networks.?
Mogulus Pro users can also select other third party advertising networks, such as Google Adsense and Scanscout, the company say that they are working on integrating additional networks in the near future.
The Mogulus and Adap.tv partnership comes as the result of Adap.tv?s new
Player Partner Program, which opens up the network?s OneSource platform that assists content owners source and manage ads. Launching yesterday, the partner program saw additional launch partners such as Brightcove, thePlatform, VMIX, Twistage and Kaltura.
Chris Johnston, director of technology partnerships at Brightcove explained that partnerships with companies such as Adap.tv are crucial in providing Brightcove customers with the technologies they need to expand their video initiatives. ?Customers can now reap the benefits of the Adap.tv OneSource platform without any additional player integration to create and manage ad policies and conveniently serve multiple ad formats from multiple sources on to their video content.?
