Popular podcast platform BlogTalkRadio, will broadcast a live program with United States President Barack Obama addressing health-care reform in partnership with Faithforhealth.org.

The program, '40 Minutes for Health Reform? is sponsored by more than 30 religious organisations representing Evangelical, Catholic, Mainline Protestant, Jewish and Muslim faiths.  The involvement of Faithforhealth.org hopes to impress upon Congress that affordable health care for every American family is ?a moral priority.?

Alan Levy, chief executive officer of BlogTalkRadio comments, ?I?ve been impressed by how President Obama has adopted innovative social-media technology during his campaign and into his administration.  We?re honoured that BlogTalkRadio will be the newest platform for the President to communicate directly with the American people.?

The public and members of the media are invited to listen in to the podcast live, although they are advised that the President will not be taking calls or questions, although ?members of faith? that submit questions via the Faithforhealth.org website will be put to panel of experts on the call.

 The program will broadcast today, 19 August 2009 at 17:00 Eastern Time on the BlogTalkRadio and Faithforhealth.org websites.  It will be available on-demand after 18:00 ET.
