Topman to unveil brand new floor to Oxford Circus Flagship


Topman logoThis September, Topman Oxford Circus http://www.topman.com will reveal a brand new upper floor of dedicated menswear to it?s customers following a huge store expansion programme, which, when fully completed, will increase the current trading space to a massive 23,000 square foot.

The new Oxford Street store will be modelled on the New York Flagship store, carrying many of the same shop fits and design treatments.  It will be the new home to all of Topman?s existing ranges and designer collaborations which include TM Design, Lens, the new Ltd range and also mainline collections from MAN designers James Long and Christopher Shannon. It will also launch a host of new additions and service points making the new store on London?s Oxford Street a true menswear shopping emporium.

?A time has come when we can confidently say that we have outgrown the current trading space.  It?s an extremely exciting time for Topman and the new floor will really reflect that.  We are offering our customer unrivalled product through our own collections as well as some of the most credible and cutting edge menswear labels out there.  The new floor will really be a whole new experience ? a true menswear destination ? I?m confident there will be nothing like it anywhere else on the high street,? explains David Shepherd, Topman managing director.

New Upper Floor Unveiled September 17th 2009

The new floor which will open to customers on September 17th, two days before the start of London Fashion Week, will launch the brand new ?Area Two One Four,? home to the Topman Stylist Concierge, Style Lounge and Wi-Fi, offering an enhanced Stylist service for personal shopping and V.I.P appointments.  In the same area will be an EAT café and the first ever UK Sharps Barbers concession.

Rough Trade Records will launch their first ever official worldwide concession site offering customers the chance to buy their recommended monthly Rough Trade ?Top Ten? album chart which customers can listen to via specially created listening posts.  Customers will also be able to get their hands on their eponymous Rough Trade Tote Bags.

A new area will offer a carefully selected collection of menswear brands.  Chosen for their credible design ethics and cult followings these will include Baracuta, D.I.E (Denim is Everything), Garbstore, Paige Premium Denim, WESC, Calvin Klein Underwear, Humor, Ben Sherman and hotly tipped Scandinavian design duo, Soulland.  Ksubi will also be launching their only UK concession for AW09 exclusively within this area and online at http://www.topman.com.

The floor will also feature a new Smart Shop offering a wider collection of Premium and mainline suits and accessories, a new and extensive Denim Shop with both Topman  and concession denim brands Monkee Genes and Levis set within a boutique environment and huge new Footwear area which will see Topman?s mainline range, Kurt Geiger and a new ?Trainer Boutique? from Office.

As new collections filter into the store, they will be showcased within a new ?Red Area?, enabling customers to get a feel for the trends and a better understanding of how to piece them together for their own wardrobe.  There will also be a new focus area which will be home to knitwear during winter months and a special Tee Room during Summer.
