Scoubt.com Gives Expatriates Valuable Resources to Thrive in Their New Community
One
of the best things about our society today is its fluidity. People
constantly move from one country to another for various reasons. The
hard part isn't making the move-it's establishing yourself in your new
community once you get there. That's where Scoubt.com comes in
(PRWEB) -- "Being an expatriate in a new place comes with many
challenges, such as finding the right people, job and accommodations
and trying to hook up with your own community," says Scoubt.com founder
Mr. ZAK. "Often the first approach for expatriates is to find someone
who he can trust?from the same community."
This is exactly what Scoubt.com was designed to facilitate. The
site, which was created following Mr. ZAK's own relatively recent
relocation to London, is exclusively formatted to help expatriates
connect with members of their new community.
"In earlier times it was nearly impossible to get access information
& develop contacts, but as times have changed and technology is
changing very rapidly, it's gotten much easier," says Mr. ZAK. "I faced
many challenges in UK?I've used my own needs to create a platform for
others."
"We are not competing in any way with Facebook or MySpace," says Mr. ZAK. "We have our own way to see social networking."
Using the social networking power of the Internet, Scoubt.com
provides resources for employers to list potential job openings, online
chat features where new residents can connect with members of their
communities and an open classified section, all designed around a
simple search base geared toward country and nationality. The site also
offers access to over 1,000 Flash games, popular video, music and
playlist capabilities, image uploading and connection to other major
social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook and Twitter. "For me the
best thing is that I don't need to remember one more password because I
can use my Google, Yahoo, Myspace or Facebook username and password to
sign in to Scoubt.com, Also we have tried our best to integrate other
networks as much as possible and now we can post our feeds to Facebook
directly from Scoubt.com" says Mr. ZAK.
Scoubt.com, which was developed in March 2009, is now sporting a
brand new facelift. The site now proudly hosts many new fun
applications i.e. sending virtual gifts and rating other members, new
advertisement feature that allow users to advertise their own sites and
groups and a host of new widgets are being developed every day.
"Scoubt.com has great potential," says Mr. ZAK. "Within just 3
months we have reached almost 15,000 users, and we are going to make it
as flexible as it can be."
The site was also recently moved to dedicated servers to prevent the
reliability issues created by their rapidly growing population of users
and is currently seeking investors to expand their server capabilities.
"We at Scoubt.com are always trying to improve and for the fact we love
implementing new crazy ideas, but we are limited because of financial
resources," says Mr. ZAK.
The site is open to investors looking for the opportunity to take
part in this amazing social media revolution and give men and women
like Mr. ZAK the resources they need to succeed anywhere in the world.
