Flypaper Studio Launches Flypaper Version 3.0 with Significant Enhancements to Performance Speeds and Features

Create, Edit and Share Flash Content up to 70 Percent Faster than with Previous Version

Flypaper Studio logoPHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Flypaper Studio, Inc., making flash content creation simple, today announces its 3.0 version of Flypaper, with upgrades ideal for e-Learning users. Flypaper version 3.0 allows projects to load up to 40 percent faster and save up to 70 percent faster. Add in features like LMS bookmarking and a new scoring display component, and companies creating mass amounts of Flash content for e-Learning programs can now be more effective in significantly less time, which equals money saved.

?While Flypaper is becoming quickly adopted for other enterprise uses such as marketing, sales and digital signage, all of which will love the performance increases, our e-Learning customers will find that this version includes some special features just for them.?

?Flypaper has really come full circle with its e-Learning customer base, and this version of our software showcases that,? said Don Pierson, founder, president and COO of Flypaper. ?While Flypaper is becoming quickly adopted for other enterprise uses such as marketing, sales and digital signage, all of which will love the performance increases, our e-Learning customers will find that this version includes some special features just for them.?

Flypaper has made version 3.0 a high-performance application with the following updates:

  • Fast content processing ? Flypaper has completely removed the databases and replaced them with an XML system. This means that in addition to the above-mentioned loading speeds, the Flybrary and local Template searches are now over 60 percent faster. This update also eliminates potential errors and security issues.
  • LMS bookmarking ? Flypaper projects now have the ability to bookmark to any SCORM 1.2 compliant Learning Management System. Students can exit a course, and then resume right where they left off.
  • New scoring data, display and variables ? Companies that don?t have an LMS can now keep score assessments online. Flypaper?s new Scoring Display Component will automatically display data such as each student?s current score, minimum score, total course objectives and objectives completed. In addition, the new Scoring Display component, which is completely customizable, will send all score data directly to a designated email or a predefined Web service.

Other features of Flypaper 3.0 include the ability to automatically load page numbers throughout an entire project with just a couple of clicks, enhancements to the dashboard that let users sort and search projects easier, a transparent loading bar and several bug fixes. New features for Flypaper coming out in the next several months will include full dashboard data extraction, a scrolling RSS feed component, timer countdown component, and CSV data access.

The Flypaper Flash Content Management Platform is a licensed environment where companies creating Flash projects can do more interactive content creation themselves, while collaborating and editing these projects online and in real time with outside professional agencies and dispersed teams anywhere in the world.
