DigitalFlashNYC Chooses Watchitoo to Multistream PopSci Live Event
Popular Science and DigitalFlashNYC to Host One-of-a-Kind Interactive
Digital Tech Event on September 30
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Watchitoo,
a leader in real-time social collaboration, has been selected by DigitalFlashNYC
as the multistreaming provider for PopSci Live, set to take place on
September 30 at 6:30 p.m. EDT. The event, hosted by Popular
Science, will showcase the future of consumer electronics
? ranging from phones and cameras to next-gen 3D televisions.
?This is our third
collaboration with DigitalFlashNYC and we are seeing tremendous
attendance and interest in these events. It is clear that the market is
ready for a new level of interactivity online.?
"Popular Science is committed to delivering our content to consumers
however and whenever they'd like to access it," said Michael Gallic,
associate publisher, marketing for Popular Science. "Watchitoo is
proving to be a valuable partner by providing us with another great
opportunity to deliver on the promise by using their multistreaming
capabilities for the new PopSci Live event."
For those that are unable to attend the PopSci Live new product preview
party in-person, Watchitoo will be multi-streaming all of the action
live, including the introductions of new 3D, mobile and music gadgets,
and a Q&A with Popular Science Deputy Editor Jake Ward.
Television personality Vanessa Rae (@Vrageous)
will host the online event and will interview Popular Science writers,
bloggers, and tech industry influencers on the Watchitoo Virtual ?Green?
Carpet. Guests will discuss the types of new gadgets we can expect to
see and how they translate into trends for 2011 and beyond. Access to
Watchitoo?s multistream of the event can be purchased on the PopSci
Live Eventbrite page for $3.99.
?Static online events are no longer acceptable. The consumer wants to
interact, be involved and actively participate. Being a part of PopSci
Live allows Watchitoo to leverage its multistreaming capabilities to do
just that,? said Rony Zarom, CEO of Watchitoo. ?This is our third
collaboration with DigitalFlashNYC and we are seeing tremendous
attendance and interest in these events. It is clear that the market is
ready for a new level of interactivity online.?

their fantastic technology will allow the PopSciLive event to be brought
to an even wider audience,? said Laura Mignott, co-founder and
