South Coast Plaza?s 96-foot holiday tree will arrive with a ?tweet? this year. The truck driver will send Twitter updates from the road throughout the two-day, 650-mile journey from Mt. Shasta to Orange County, California on twitter.com/southcoastplaza.

? The tree will arrive in Town Center Park in Costa Mesa, California on Monday, October 25 at 7:00 a.m.





? The tree is transported on the largest allowable-sized trailer for the highway





? A 200-ton crane will hoist the tree into position at 9:00 a.m.





? It takes three weeks to adorn the tree with 15,000 colored lights





? A great photo opportunity!





 




Tree Arrival Reception





The public is invited to get into the holiday spirit at a Holiday Tree arrival reception, where gingerbread lattes and breakfast treats will be served as holiday music fills the air.
 




Tree Lighting & Santa?s Arrival Ceremony





On November 18, Town Center Park plays host to what?s become one of Orange County?s best-loved holiday traditions: Santa?s arrival and the lighting of the tree. Santa?s helpers will give attendees a special gift, and after some beauty sleep, Santa will be ready for family photos at South Coast Plaza the following day.

Tree Raising ? Monday, October 25 at 9:00 a.m.





Tree Lighting Ceremony ? Thursday, November 18 at 6:00 p.m.
