New Facebook Application Launch - SwapSquare and CollegeSwap

Fast on the heels of last month?s soft launch of the Facebook application CollegeSwap, the technology company Whowish has announced the launch of another ?swap meet? Facebook app called SwapSquare. Both applications enable users to swap with each other for the products and services they need. For CollegeSwap users that involves everything from futons, textbooks, and iPhones to math tutors and rides home during breaks. For SwapSquare users it could include everything from fine jewelry, snow blowers, and flat screen TVs to plumbers, painters, and landscapers.

The new Facebook swap applications are the brainchild of several recent college graduates. Rungrith (Sam) Kittayapong, an alumnus of Cornell University, is CEO of Whowish; Tanin Na Nakorn, an alumnus of the University of Edinburgh is Chief Technology Officer; and Tanun Niyomjit, a graduate of Srinakharinwirot University in Thailand, is Chief of Product Development. The three entrepreneurs joined together to form Whowish, a technology company dedicated to creating innovative and useful apps for Facebook and other platforms. Later they were joined by Nilobol Ariyamongkollert, a graduate of Thailand?s Chulalongkorn University, who now serves as Head Programmer & Systems Analyst.

?The CollegeSwap & SwapSquare applications have been a year in the making, and is the product of our experiences of being cash strapped college students,? says Kittayapong, who previously developed the patented KomShell notebook case to help students and professionals who are always on the go. ?With these applications users can save cash by swapping what they don?t need for what they do need.?

In addition, CollegeSwap & SwapSquare enables users to earn extra cash. If a swap can?t be made between products or services, users can negotiate a cash offer. Individuals who have services to sell can use the applications to find others who need their services. CollegeSwap may retire the once popular ride share board on college campuses, as the application makes it easy for students without wheels to find people offering rides.

Facebook users can access both applications now by visiting their Facebook profile pages at: http://www.facebook.com/collegeswap and http://www.facebook.com/swapsquare.

Stay tuned for Whowish?s next application 2Meet4, which will be launched in the coming weeks.
