CDN World Forum attended by record numbers
It can be confirmed that a record number of delegates were
in attendance during the CDN World Forum in London last week, which was
collocated with the largest Cloud Computing event in Europe, the 3rd
annual Cloud Computing World Forum.
Held on 21st and 22nd June at Olympia,
the forum hosted some of the biggest names and organisations from the IT
industry, with over 70 global companies from both the cloud and CDN industries
exhibiting, around 130 keynote presentations being delivered in four different
theatres, and a host of vital topics being covered by an array of expert
speakers.
Well-received by delegates throughout the two days, the show?s
organiser, Mark Johnstone was delighted by the success of this year?s event:
?The attendance levels have been great, which I?m extremely
pleased about.
?However, what was really superb about the show was the
enthusiasm everyone had over the course of both days. The buzz around cloud
computing and CDN has clearly gained momentum in the last 12 months, but from
hearing the discussions held in both the packed-out theatres and around the
exhibition stands, there?s still a fair way to go with cloud and people are genuinely
committed to working out how to get there.
?There?s clearly plenty of expansion expected in both the
cloud computing and CDN industries in the near future, and we?re now looking
forward to next year where both the Cloud Computing and CDN World Forum will be
even bigger.?
Because of the event?s popularity, next year?s CDN World
Forum will be held at Earls Court, London on the 12th and 13th
June 2012, collocating with the 4th annual Cloud Computing World
Forum.
Next up for the Cloud Computing World Series is the Cloud Computing
World Forum Latin America, taking place on the 28th September in Sao
Paulo, Brazil.
