FriendsLearn Launches Facebook 'Food Fight' as Part of 'Hot' Social Apps Presenting at DEMO Spring 2012 in Silicon Valley

Facebook Users Encouraged to Help Shape the Future of Competitive 3D Social & Mobile Game Play for Compelling Engagement and Personal Learning, One Burger at a Time

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire) - FriendsLearn, a privately-held Silicon Valley social and mobile gaming company that aims to transform learning through revolutionary educational experiences, today announced that it will present its newest 'learnified' real-time 3D game, Fooya, at The DEMO Conference in Santa Clara, California at 3:00 p.m., April 19 as part of DEMO's 'hot' new social media applications presentations.

FriendsLearn will preview its Alpha version of Fooya, a real-time 3D social and mobile 'food fight' set within a carnival, which is focused on enhancing users' understanding about diet, health and wellness through compelling, competitive sharing and engagement with one (Alpha version) to thousands (or more) of their best friends and enemies alike. Each player's health depends on the nutritional value of the foods that they get hit with! Fooya's dynamic 'personal learning' health game model is designed to capture the science of nutrition and its impact on health.

Attendees can view Fooya prior to FriendsLearn's presentation at DEMO booth D45. Fooya's (one player) alpha version will be available on Facebook for feedback from the first 1000 users to join FriendsLearn in helping to define the future of learning.

"Building on the success of our first game, Fooya has moved 'the game' to the next level -- 3D social gaming -- by providing rich, core gaming within Facebook, which is a relatively underserved market," said Bhargav Sri Prakash, CEO of FriendsLearn. "In order to play in this market, social education games must fulfill users' three basic requirements of rich engagement, social experience, and mobile accessibility. Upon final release, users will find that Fooya has the freemium model of Zynga's FarmVille, the rich game play of League of Legends, and the mobile accessibility of Kabam."

FriendsLearn brings a rich and core gaming experience to Facebook and mobile devices, while also measuring, tracking and storing what gamers are learning via an underlying 'learnification' platform. Each game in FriendsLearn's pipeline is designed to provide an engaging, user driven social gaming experience, while enhancing gamers' understanding of topics that will help them be more successful in their lives. Yet, the key is that FriendsLearn is dedicated to creating an unparalleled 3D Social Media user experience, whether for one player or scaling to millions. That is FriendsLearn's promise to our gamers.
