Gone are the days of searching aimlessly for a parked car at the airport. Now, travelers can simply snap a photo using their iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and attach it directly to the flight information in their TripIt itinerary before it becomes a distant memory upon their return. Photos can also be helpful for capturing baggage claim tickets, receipts, hotel room numbers or items to remember later.
In addition, trip plans are now automatically displayed on a map, making it easy for travelers to find a restaurant, print shop or pharmacy near their hotel while on the road. With the click of a button, new discoveries from the traveler's map search can be added to their itinerary, or they can get point-by-point directions.
