LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired) - Audioboo has announced that the latest stage in its development is complete, with the launch of a new app for iPhone. The app has been developed following extensive user feedback and community research, and is already proving popular with regular Audiobooers.
The new app mirrors the improved web platform developments earlier this year, offering users an improved UI and search mechanism, as well as better browsing and easier access to popular and featured boos. The new iPhone app also features categories, in-app favouriting and the hugely popular new Boo Boards feature. Users can view and create customised boards in the app, and then download them and listen to audio offline.
Audioboo's CEO, Rob Proctor, commented: "We've worked hard to make sure that this new iPhone app offers the best possible experience for mobile users. I'm really proud of the progress we've made so far this year, and am determined to continue to innovate and develop our platform and products over the coming months."
"At Audioboo, we value and appreciate the members of our community who have given us their feedback so far, and hope that new users will find the app intuitive and easy to use. From audio news uploaded directly from professional journalists and global media to specialist podcasting channels, users can discover, listen to and share content straight from their iphone, no matter where they are."
