Eighth Social Media Influence (SMI) conference arrives next month
Social Media Portal (SMP) to attend the eighth annual Social Media Influence (SMI) conference in London in a few weeks
May 2013, London UK ---- Social Media Influence (SMI) conference, one of the longest established social media and social business events arrives in the UK?s capital next month.
Produced by conference organiser SocialMediaInfluence.com, the eighth annual conference (also known as SMI13) is to be held on 13 June 2013 at the Cavendish Conference Centre in London.
The conference will see opening remarks from Matthew Yeomans, co-founder of Social Media Influence, which will be chaired by Allister Frost. The one-day event will feature presentations from digital marketing, PR and social media agencies, technology company Microsoft, The Economist and social media vendors. The agenda includes case studies and plenty of time to network during breaks with lunch included. There will also be two panel discussions: Apps, Maps and Emerging Platforms - The Tips for Making the Best Use from New Social Technologies and The Reputation Game.
Tim Gibbon, founder of Elemental and Social Media Portal (SMP) cofounder comments, ?It?s a social media packed day covering a range of subject matter that both agencies and brands can benefit from. From core subject such as communities, engagement, social analytics, social business, sustainability, technology and the latest social platforms, SM13 is a good environment where delegates can learn what can be implemented into their business.?
?It?s significant that this is the eighth Social Media Influence conference as there aren?t many events that have consistently been debating this subject matter over such a long period of time. As early adopters, SMI13 exposes attendees to learning that draws upon experience that other event organisers may not have access to.
This annual conference will focus upon the theme of what makes a ?social company? as more stakeholders understand the value of integrating social media throughout their businesses. Now the next level for many is how they can make social more successful through departments and within a company?s culture; demonstrating the benefits to the board and senior management more confidently. SMI13 is one of few conferences that can help agencies and brands put this into practice,? adds Gibbon.
