Social Media Portal (SMP) supports Ovum BYOX World Forum 2013 arriving in London next week

May 2013, London, UK ---- Social news and information site the Social Media Portal (SMP) is supporting the event aimed at chief information officers (CIOs) entitled the Ovum BYOX World Forum to be held next week.

Produced by analyst and research company Ovum, the two-day forum is free to attend for business executives and IT decision makers and operators.  Welcoming over high calibre 50 speakers and 150 attendees, the forum is to be held from 05-06 June 2013 at Dexter House, No.2 Royal Mint Court, London in the UK.

Billed as Europe's only dedicated forum for BYOD and BYOA, the agenda highlights best practise, data, governance, case studies, legal, privacy, strategy, state of the market, tax and many other business IT issues.

The forum will see guest speakers such as AppSense, BBC, Blackberry, BT, Canon, Cisco, Diageo, Ford, Google Enterprise, IBM, LOCOG and Volvo in addition to specialists Richard Absalom, Adrian Drury and Richard Edwards from Ovum.  With a networking zone including an online networking tool and one-to-one speed networking, there are plenty of opportunities for stakeholders to contact with each other.

The Ovum BYOX Strategy Awards 2013 proceeds the forum, scheduled the day before (05 June 2013). The awards will celebrate innovation and best practice in the field of BYOD, in which Ovum acknowledges that there isn?t ?one size fits all? strategy when it comes to managing mobile consumerisation.
