NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For the second consecutive year, the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) has recognized Vidicom with a Bronze Anvil Award for InteracTV. The winning tactic builds an interactive brand community through live streaming video content. This year, it?s Vidicom's live interactive webcast featuring Bravo?s "Top Chef" host Gail Simmons winning the 2013 Anvil. Gail and SeriousEats.com's Ed Levine interacted with consumers via Skype and answered questions from Facebook and Twitter while they demonstrated kitchen magic with Pepperidge Farm?s Puff Pastry. Pepperidge Farm doubled its Facebook reach to 1.1 million people and increased viewer impressions 30% from 1.6 to 2.3 million. In addition, 14,000 brand fans engaged with the Facebook page compared to 11,000 from the week prior, increasing the company's Edge Rank in fans' newsfeeds. Most recently, AARP joined forces with Vidicom in producing monthly interactive broadcasts to continue AARP's "Life Reimagined " conversation.
