CommunicAsia2013 is Asia's largest integrated information and communication technology event. The theme of this year's conference is bridging communication borders and optimizing business opportunities. On June 18, conference Day One, PeerApp's Avi Tenenbaum will be presenting at 4:20 p.m. (16.20) in the CDN Evolution track of the program.
Tenenbaum's presentation on "Transparent Caching and CDN: Understanding what's Driving the Converged Offering" will discuss the current roles of CDNs and network operators within the content delivery ecosystem, and how that ecosystem must evolve to sustainably meet the growth in consumer demand for Internet-based video and services. Tenenbaum is PeerApp's International General Manager and is responsible for the company's business in Asia-Pacific, Japan, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
PeerApp has recently announced the Content Service Extension (CSE) initiative in cooperation with global CDN service providers EdgeCast and Limelight. In this session, Tenenbaum will also discuss how content service extension can help both network operators and CDN service providers cooperate for improved content delivery.
