PARIS/PRNewswire/ --
Following on from the success and impact of its first edition in January held at 2013 Sciences Po Paris which attracted 250 people, the second international colloquium ReputationWar, organised by Christophe Ginisty with Syntec Conseil en Relations Publics and the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), will be held on Friday 17 January 2014 in the prestigious setting of the Edouard VII theatre, Paris.
The theme for the event, both challenging and topical, is "Sentimental Crowds".
ReputationWar aims to decode the new challenges of reputation management in a connected world from the perspective of crowd behaviour and psychology, focusing on three main topics:
- Beliefs: what are the levers that give rise to the right or wrong beliefs of public opinion, and what role does Internet play in their development?
- Emotions: how important is the emotional factor in the relationship between consumers and brands? What drives their decision to interact or not with an organisation?
- Engagement: What triggers the mobilisation of public opinion on social media? What impact should this have on reputation management strategies?
"ReputationWar will be a series of contributions and 'one-on-one battles', featuring authors, researchers and specialists in social science, reputation and sensitive communications from different countries," adds Christophe Ginisty, the event's founder. "The first edition was successful because we took a higher view compared to other events which only look at these phenomena from a technological standpoint. Our approach is unique because it focuses on the respective behaviours of public opinion and consumers which are absolutely fundamental to reputation management."
The organisers are open to suggestions for subject matter; interested potential speakers are invited to send their contribution proposals to speaker@reputationwar.com . The full programme will be published on the event's web site http://www.reputationwar.com and relayed on Twitter: @ReputationWar.
