Mobile Advertising Platform is the First to Pay Users for Unlocking the Screens on Their Android Smartphones
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AppDisco USA launched LatteScreen for the North American market today, which pays users to view and engage in advertisements via their Android smartphone?s lock screen. AppDisco is the original creator of the mobile advertising-unlocking platform, which has been in a live beta in more than a dozen regions worldwide since April 2013.
?We have amazing proof of concept from the success we?ve seen in Asia and Europe, and are eager for the North American market to experience the benefits of using LatteScreen?
Android phone owners can voluntarily download the app from Google Play. When they turn on the screen to their smartphone, they are presented with an attractive advertisement that is targeted toward their preferences ? they have the option to swipe a tab left or right to learn more about the ad, or to unlock their device. Each time a user unlocks the screen, they are compensated with real-world currency and can cash out as soon as they accrue $10 USD via PayPal, with gift card rewards and other options coming soon.
?We have amazing proof of concept from the success we?ve seen in Asia and Europe, and are eager for the North American market to experience the benefits of using LatteScreen,? said Scott Park, CEO, AppDisco USA. ?While imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, LatteScreen pays out more than any other service, giving users greater rewards for a simple action they already do dozens of times in a day.?
LatteScreen is currently integrated with several advertisers in North America, including CJ E&M, Game Insight, Gamevil, Yulipop, Kia and Nexon. AppDisco also has partnerships in place with several global conglomerates, which will be announced at a later date.
A recent study conducted by Millward Brown showed that consumers are more likely to engage in mobile advertising when brands offer tangible value in exchange for their time and attention. This reveals an opportunity for advertisers to reap many benefits from LatteScreen integration, including operating on a cost per install and a cost per download; the option to bid on premium time frames to reach more active users; targeted and tasteful ad delivery; and a voluntary download on the consumer?s part.
LatteScreen also gives out higher rewards to users who engage in desired activities such as installing an app or unlocking an advertisement. By providing simple yet attractive images, LatteScreen allows for a more seamless and less obtrusive method of ad delivery to users, providing advertisers with a lucrative opportunity to reach consumers naturally, where they already spend much of their time.
