One of the Most Beautiful Calendar Apps for Android "SolCalendar" Unveiled in Thailand

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA--(Marketwired) - Daum Communications (KOSDAQ:035720), one of South Korea's largest portals, is introducing its beautiful calendar application -- SolCalendar -- in Thai through Sol Studio at Daum.

SolCalendar is an exceptionally practical and convenient calendar app which comes with a simple but sophisticated design. Users can check on all the important events immediately with its "split view" at a single touch.

The weather information for upcoming 7 days helps users set up their schedule effectively. And the events can be shared with friends and peers through various methods including texting and mobile messengers, email or social media.

SolCalendar doesn't require any separate account for using it. Once it is installed, all the calendars on users' smartphones are automatically synced. All the other calendars which support the CalDAV protocol such as Yahoo calendar and Apple's iCloud can also be synced by just adding accounts.

More than 30 different beautiful widgets are attracting those who were getting sick of boring Android widgets. It is possible to visualize events on the calendar by decorating with adorable stickers.

After SolCalendar was introduced in English and Korean on September the 10th, there has been enthusiastic feedback from users and media all around the world. Some of them were spread through social media and word of mouth. Recently, The Next Web (www.thenextweb.com) introduced SolCalendar as one of the '30 of the most beautiful and well-designed Android apps.'

Moreover, users in Thailand, Netherland, Poland, Denmark, Germany, Russia, Spain and France translated SolCalendar to their own languages spontaneously. With this support, Sol Studio at Daum stepped on the accelerator and installed more languages on SolCalendar. It is now available in Thai, Dutch, Polish, Italian, Danish, German, Portuguese (Brazilian), Turkish, Russian, Spanish, French, English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

As a response for a lot of requests from European users, displaying events with the 24 hours format is supported now and moving to other months in widgets which were mainly requested as well by users became possible. Detailed itineraries can be recorded repetitively better on bi-weekly, tri-weekly and any custom setting for repeating events and designed to designate the number of repetitions or time of expiration. And as it is tightly integrated with mobile messengers such as WhatsApp, Facebook messenger, Line, KakaoTalk, WeChat, users can share their schedule more easily.

Sol Studio at Daum is also providing the SolMail application which gathers all email messages from multiple accounts in one place. As in the case of SolCalendar, SolMail is rising to solid acclaims along with an expanding customer base worldwide. SolMail is serviced in Italian, German, Russian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Romanian, Polish, Chinese, Japanese, English and Korean.
