According to a recent post from ELEX, they have officially announced that Clash of Kings has seen over 100 million downloads. That's a pretty big number that includes download figures from Google's Play Store, Amazon's Appstore and Apple's App Store. Clash of Kings took about 16 months to reach this figure with the Android version launching in August 2014 and the iOS version hitting the market this year in January 2015.
The most important thing is that Clash of Kings works on most of platforms, so it can deliver a consistent experience on every device on every platform. "A gamer can move seamlessly from phone to tablet to computer, which helps us to keep our users engaged for longer," said Peng Yue, Chief Producer at ELEX. "More platforms lead to bigger audience leads to more downloads lead to more revenue. "
This milestone isn't particularly surprising given the free nature of the game, but it does prove that Clash of Kings is undoubtly the love of every gaming freak. In addition to reaching this mobile milestone, the Clash of Kings franchise has created numerous headlines in this year. The title has received overwhelmingly positive reviews and recognition, most notably it has been named by Facebook as its 2015 Game of the Year.

Being a free-to-play game, Clash of Kings relies on microtransactions to make money. The game has managed to top grossing charts in over 100 countries, and is one of the most downloaded games across iOS and Android devices around the world. ELEX has not provided any details, however, regarding the profitability of the game.
