The APAC app economy will more than double in size over the next five years.

In 2016, the mobile app market in APAC is projected to reach $28 billion in gross revenue across all app stores.1 By 2020, gross revenue across all app stores will exceed $57 billion in APAC.
Mobile app store downloads in APAC is set to grow from 80 billion in 2016 to 162 billion in 2020, led by China as well as emerging markets such as India and Indonesia.
In November 2015, average data usage per smartphone user in India and Indonesia grew by more than 50% year-over-year (YoY). As usage and revenue performance become increasingly correlated, tremendous opportunities emerge for both local and global publishers.
