UP eCommerce Payments offers fast integration for merchant customers of HyperPay, driving further growth in the MENA region
Naples, FLA (
GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- April 5, 2017 ? ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading global provider of real-time electronic payment and banking solutions, today announced that HyperPay, a leading payment service provider (PSP) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, now offers merchants a seamless mobile checkout solution with the ACI Mobile Commerce Software Development Kit (mSDK), part of ACI?s UP eCommerce Payments solution.
HyperPay, founded in 2010, is a fast-growing online PSP in the MENA region, with a 35 percent average monthly growth rate in transaction volume since early 2016. In addition to the branded payment gateway solutions and cross-border capabilities that HyperPay already delivers to its clients via UP eCommerce Payments, the PSP has expanded its relationship with ACI to enable a seamless mobile checkout experience.
ACI?s mSDK makes it possible for HyperPay to capitalize on the mobile opportunity in the MENA region, where mobile penetration is considerably higher than the global average. Retailers need to offer digitally-savvy consumers a seamless experience across online, mobile, social and in-store; the white-label mSDK facilitates fast integration of payments into existing native apps, and supports the range of alternative methods required both domestically and cross-border in the Middle East and North Africa.
?ACI?s Mobile Commerce Software Development Kit allowed us to get our first merchants live quickly, due to the ease of technical integration,? said Muhannad Ebwini, CEO, HyperPay. ?With ACI, we know that we have the functionality and flexibility we need thanks to its RESTful API, and access to the payment methods that our merchants require thanks to its extensive global payments network.?
?Innovative PSPs like HyperPay have identified the growth potential of online commerce in the Middle East and North Africa, but also recognize the challenge of remaining relevant in a rapidly-changing retail environment where the smartphone is becoming ubiquitous,? said John Gessau, director, Mobile Payment Solutions, ACI Worldwide. ?By leveraging our mSDK, HyperPay can deliver the speed to market, functionality and flexibility that their merchants demand, as we make our extensive network of endpoints available via the mobile channel.?
The ACI Mobile Commerce SDK for iOS and Android is part of the UP eCommerce Payments solution, which combines the extensive global reach of the ACI PAY.ON Payments Gateway with integrated ACI ReD Shield real-time fraud management. The solution has been recognized with a number of industry awards including MPE Awards 2017 (International Award), PayFORUM 2017 (Cross-border Payments Award), and the FStech Payments Awards 2016 (Best Online Payments Solution).
