London, UK ---- TV Connect, the video distribution exhibition at the heart of the broadcast industry, has announced its speaker line-up and congress agenda for 2018. Taking place at TV Connect from 9 – 10 May at Olympia London, the congress will bring together influential industry leaders pioneering development across various sectors spanning video, telecoms, OTT, broadcast and more. Tackling topical issues facing the modern video distribution market, TV Connect’s dynamic programme will ignite broader conversation to drive change in the connected entertainment industry and beyond.

The TV Connect Congress will advance new ideas in video creation, distribution performance, and network intelligence through multiple panel sessions and keynotes. Optimising emerging trends and insights, the sessions will specifically focus on the future of IP – asking how it affects the viewing experience, new OTT services, and the evolution of technology.

“We’re committed to delivering high quality keynotes and panel sessions which make TV Connect attendees feel inspired,” says Jackson Szabo, show manager at TV Connect. “Our congress’ agenda is carefully curated to delve deeper into the industry’s hottest trends that are shaping the future of video distribution. The industry is in a period of remarkable change, and we’re well-positioned to join this movement and develop it further.”

Featuring exhibitors providing solutions in content discovery, network optimisation, AI, live streaming, mobile video distribution and much more, TV Connect is set to be better than ever before.

As well as the much-anticipated return to West London’s iconic Olympia exhibition centre, back for 2018 will be TV Connect’s Tech Tours which are customised to suit each attendee’s area of interest. Also helping attendees invest in the latest technology with confidence will be the event’s new Connected Entertainment Hubs which will enable visitors to try before they buy and focus on the specific needs of their business – all whilst making the most of TV Connect’s numerous networking opportunities.
