Lynn Dell (LD): I am Lynn Dell and I am the president and founder of Off Broadway Boutique in Manhattan.
SMP: Briefly, tell us about Off Broadway Boutique Blog, what is it and what does it do?
LD: The blog at Off Broadway Boutique informs customers of new arrivals in the store, different places we?re featured, and what I?m up to!
SMP: What made you start Off Broadway Boutique Blog?
LD: We wanted a platform to reach a larger audience. We hope it would increase customer engagement.
SMP: What was the most challenging part of building the blog?
LD: There was some difficulty installing the Off Broadway Boutique theme. Plus, we?re always work to make sure we use the right keywords in our posts.
SMP: Who are your target audience and why?
LD: Our customers are our biggest audience, but we also use the blog to reach out to the media and other fashion and style bloggers.
SMP: How did you initially attract users to your blog, and how do you do it now?
SMP: What are the high moments of what you have been doing so far?
LD: The store has gotten a lot of exposure and is always getting noticed by more and more fashion-lovers.
SMP: Now that it is an established blog, what do you see as your biggest challenges and opportunities?
LD: The trick is to use the blog to increase traffic to the site and to our store, and to increase awareness.
SMP: What are the next moves for Off Broadway Boutique Blog?
LD: The blog is going to be upgraded, along with the Wordpress and plugins. Advertising is also going to play a part.
SMP: What?s the next big step for social media and what role does your blog play in this?
LD: The way we plan on using more social media in the future is through Twitter tweets, including portions of our blog posts and blurbs.
